This is the review that we received from the painter we hired to do the display models.

I was afforded the opportunity to paint one of 18 Charlie’s Heavy Gun Drones. The model was clean and had very little flash and was easily cleaned up with an X-acto knife. I did not know if there was mold release on the model and did the normal soap and water bath before priming. Garth said he wanted to have a model that was reminiscent of a PaK-40 anti-tank gun so I went with a pseudo German camo scheme and broke out the airbrush. I was not sure about the lines the 3-D printer left from the original model and thought about sanding them off but then looked at it and it resembled the zimmeritt paste from WW2. It gave a great effect when I dry brushed the highlights and I liked the results. I then black lined the model as I like the look and this is how I painted my Tau vehicles. When painting the heat of my lamps made the rail gun start to bend and look a little limp. After I was done I just turned the model over and it straightened out and firmed up. This effect went away and the gun did not have the problem anymore. It is a great model and I enjoyed painting them. I recommend getting this model to add support to your grunts. Makes me want to paint another Tau army as I sold mine off.
